So how do the two compair? (Main focus question)
They both contain many lines of buses and trains. They both have over 35 stations that make it accessible for alot of residents to use. Lastly they both provide easy access to neighborhoods, various attractions, shopping centers, restaurants, and many more places. Chicagos contains more buses and more train stops. This makes the system bigger than St.Louis's Metro services. Chicagos primary souse of transportation is public transportation (bus/rail). Where as St. Louis's main sources of transportation is car. That makes the need for public transportation in St. Louis drop, so that is why they have less buses and trains. The St. louis Metro has one big advantage over the CTA. That advantage is the Call-A-Ride Service. This alows people to call a ride if they do not have access do the buses/trains.They also provide many seavices to the disabled and handicap.
